Biography
Charlotte O’Connor is a Bristol-based songwriter, performer and emerging composer for screen. Her work combines narrative songwriting, vocal performance and music created in response to story, character and atmosphere.
She graduated in 2026 with a BA (Hons) Creative Industries Futures (Music), specialising in commercial songwriting and performing. The course was delivered through the Academy of Contemporary Music and awarded by Middlesex University, with Charlotte achieving a 2:1.
Charlotte has released original music, performed in the UK and Italy, completed original scores for two short films and is currently composing for a third. Her five-song project Family Business has completed its creative phase and is now in post-production ahead of release.
Creative approach
Logic Pro forms the backbone of Charlotte’s production workflow, supported by third-party instruments, effects and sound libraries including Splice. She is interested in how music can reveal character, change atmosphere and support the emotional movement of a story.
