Biography
Charlotte O’Connor is an emerging contemporary songwriter, performer and creative artist currently completing her degree at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Clapham. Her work is rooted in narrative songwriting, emotional honesty and a strong sense of family, identity and lived experience.
She has performed original material in both the UK and Italy, released her first album on Spotify in 2025, and is currently developing Family Business, a thematically connected body of songs shaped by the complexities, humour, loyalty and emotional texture of belonging to a large extended family spread across the world.
Before committing fully to music, Charlotte began in Primary Education and developed valuable experience working with children. She now brings that same empathy, communication and sense of human connection into her creative practice. Her songwriting combines wordcraft, melodic instinct and a vivid love of life and family to create contemporary songs with narrative depth.
